The Syracuse City Arts Council is dedicated to making Syracuse an art community. Since Syracuse is the gateway to Antelope Island, our opportunities to enjoy the beauty of nature and wildlife within and surrounding our community is a wonderful gift. It is the Arts Council's goal to provide learning experiences as well as opportunities to express and display our creative talents by sharing them with each other through not only the fine arts, but the performing arts of music, poetry and theater as well.
Syracuse Guild for the Visual Arts
SGVA is looking for artists in the Syracuse area to become participating members. The SGVA is newly formed to provide the Syracuse community with an outlet for encouraging and supporting those who wish to share, motivate, market, and inspire their creative-artistic talents. The SGVA is seeking those whose talents may include, but not limited to: pen/ink; watercolor; oils; acrylic; pastel; stained glass; mixed media; printmaking, or other fine-art mediums.
The SGVA meets at the Syracuse Community Center (Arts/Crafts Room) the second Saturday of each month at 10:30 a.m.
